Launch Countdown
We are at T-minus 20 days until our first submission window opens on September 1st. We'll remain open through September 15th and then select stories for our first two issues. Issue 1 will land in December, while Issue 2 will splash down in February.

Radio Silence
Apparently, I didn't post on Bluesky or Patreon last week. That wasn't intentional by any means. Also, I was completely out of cell range over the weekend, staying in a yurt in the Boise National Forest. Other than the GPS and maps, I didn't use my phone at all. And no laptop in sight. It was a relaxing break. I highly recommend unplugging from time to time, and I plan to do it again.
Telemetry Update
The Exoplanet Uplink has 21 subscribers, a modest signal boost from last week.
Exoplanet has 231 followers on Bluesky. This is one of the best ways to keep tabs on the project. Well, at least when the editor isn't off the grid in a yurt.
We're holding steady with an audience of four on Patreon. Among other perks, you can join our Discord server at any support level. This server will include our staff, authors, and artists, so it should be a fun hub of conversation for all things Exoplanet.
Captain's Log
Our first submission window is fast approaching. As I mentioned earlier, I recommend preparing now if you're planning to send us a story or poem. The window will be short and submitting early is best.
